Questions
Common questions.
- What does it cost today?
- Nothing. OperatorBoard is in preview and no billing is wired up yet, so every workspace has the full platform. The prices here are the intended list for when it is.
- What counts as a portco?
- Any active portfolio company with a thesis in your workspace. Add-ons rolled into a platform count as one until you split them out.
- Can I change plans later?
- Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time; we prorate the difference on your next annual invoice.
- Do you offer a design-partner program?
- We work with a small number of funds as design partners each quarter. Email us if that is a better fit than a standard plan.
- How does data get in?
- Import the IC memo to seed the thesis, then connect QuickBooks, Xero, Salesforce, or HubSpot, or upload the monthly Excel pack. Connected systems pull on demand: you or the portco operator runs the sync, and the numbers pre-fill that period's report. NetSuite, Workday, and warehouse connectors are listed on the roadmap, not live.
- Is my data secure?
- Workspaces are isolated per fund by Postgres row-level security, and we never train models on your data. SSO/SAML, audit-log export, and configurable retention are committed roadmap items rather than shipped features; the security page says exactly what is live today and what is not.
